This tour takes place in the first half of the day, picking up at 8am at the Plaza Regocijo in Cusco, and getting back to Cusco about 2:30, or 3 pm. This tour will take you to Moray, an ancient Incan plant laboratory, then to Maras Salineras, where they harvest salt from salt pools created from the salty stream that comes from inside the Andes mountains. INCLUDED: Tourist bus and professional group guide NOT INCLUDED: Entry fees to ancient ruins are not included and must be purchased in person. For Moray, the entry fee is 70 Peruvian Soles, or you can get a “Boleto turistico” (Cusco tourist ticket), which will get you entry into many of the historical sites in the area for 130 Soles (must purchase in person). For Maras, the entry fee is 10 Soles, or again you can opt to get a “boleto turistico.” You can purchase a tourist ticket in person at the “Comite de Servicios Integrados Turistico Culturales Cusco” (COSITUC) office: Avenida El Sol 103, Cusco.
